Off-site backup with WeBackup
Off-site backup keeps a second copy of Windows and Linux servers, hypervisors and NAS shares in a location that is independent of production. WeBackup is Weridata's agent-based service: you order from the customer panel, schedule jobs there, and restore files or full systems without pointing a browser at the vault.
Independent vault
Copies leave the building that hosts your VPS, dedicated server or NAS.
Agent coverage
Windows Agent, Linux Agent, vSphere, Hyper-V and NAS / SMB shares.
Immutable WORM
Stored points are locked so ransomware cannot wipe the off-site copy.
Live catalogue
Plan prices and the slider tariff come from the same panel products.
What off-site backup actually changes
A snapshot on the same host, or a USB disk in the same rack, fails when that site fails. Fire, a storage controller fault, a deleted volume or a ransomware run that encrypts attached shares takes the only copy with it. WeBackup writes to an off-site data centre so the production outage and the backup store are not the same incident.
Jobs are incremental: after the first full, only changed blocks are compressed and sent. AES-256 covers the path and the stored objects. The durability target published on this page is eleven nines — the vault is built so a single disk or node loss does not drop a restore point.
Sources WeBackup can protect
Install the Windows or Linux Agent on a physical machine or a guest. Hypervisor jobs cover VMware vSphere and Microsoft Hyper-V. Proxmox and Nutanix virtual machines are backed up through the guest agent. NAS and SMB shares are pulled as file-level sources. One schedule per source lives in the panel cron; after you add a source you can also start a run immediately.
Restore without touching the vault URL
File-level and full restores start in WeBackup management inside the customer panel. The browser never talks to the backup system directly. That keeps credentials and network policy in one place and matches how Weridata already sells VPS, dedicated and hosting products.
Plans, the calculator and the panel
Ready packages and the custom slider use the same live catalogue — storage quota, device count, frequency and restore points. Yearly billing applies the panel factor (typically 20% off the monthly rate). When a quota fills, new sources are blocked and existing jobs stop until you raise GB or device limits in WeBackup management. Checkout always opens in the customer panel; this page does not invent a second price list.
